In the highest village in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy 13 lifts and 36 kilometers of slopes. The Berwang – Bichlbach ski area invites you to explore the slopes surrounding both villages.
The Sonnalmbahn Berwang and the Almkopfbahn Bichlbach meet at the Heiterwanger Hochalm at an elevation of 1,622 meters. Here, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the snow-covered mountains.

The Berwang Ski School offers tailored ski or snowboard courses for everyone, from beginners to experts, and cross-country skiers receive excellent support here as well. Slope Hopping
Slope hopping made easy: With state-of-the-art lifts and gondolas, you can explore seven different ski areas in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. With a total of 139 kilometers of slopes, including 93 kilometers of snow-covered pistes, and 58 mountain lifts, no skiing wish will go unfulfilled. From glacier skiing on the Zugspitzplatt, which guarantees snow, to sunny slopes in Berwang, on the Ehrwalder Alm, at the Wettersteinbahnen, or in Lermoos and Biberwier: there’s a dream area for everyone, from racing carvers to leisurely skiers, from little slope novices to adult beginners.

On the toboggan run at the Egghof Sunjet, tobogganing fun is guaranteed. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will also find excellent conditions on the well-prepared trails. Every Tuesday at 8:30 PM, a spectacular ski show with amazing performances and a romantic fireworks display takes place.
